Wilfred's - Edmonton

I didn't know anything about this place and happened to get over him on social media and I'm so glad I did. The atmosphere was brilliant, a kind of new age diner, very clean and bright. You have a small children's menu, my boy 3 yo) had the grilled cheese and frits and loved it. I had the Wilfred's Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich $18) with onion rings $2 on fee of fries or salad), It was delicious, SLOPPY ask for additional napkins) but delicious! You will ask if you want it mild or sharp, I have it sharp and it was really not so hot. It looks like they have a nice selection of adult drinks, including 3 taps that support 3 different local breweries. This place is a must check out and a place I will definitely be back to check out and try more from their menu.

Clean, fresh interior. Great looking brunch and lunch menu, with a beautiful small assortment of cocktails that I would like to try next time. I had the grilled cheese with ham and tomato soup, which was fantastic. Great service and general feeling in this place.

I loved the burgers and onion rings! The restaurant also has a very sweet interior: Unfortunately, the Mac n cheese was not great, it didn't taste like cheese and the whole sauce just pooled on the ground: I hope they will change the recipe soon because it now tastes more glands than strength dinner sprinkled with some pepper on Top Lol. overall we had a great experience!

First of all, I have to say they're putting up a big cup of coffee. We had two refills. Two thumbs to Ace, the provider of this beer. Classic Diner interior. No nonsense, order, pay, food, out. Secondly, the portions and the taste were just right. Typically brunch places heap the hashbrowns on the plate to increase the portion size, but in this case the hashbrowns were not only very free, but could even share some of the headlights. We had the two brunch dishes with eggs (Royale, Mortadella) and gave the Lobster Roll an attempt, but it was really not my kind of thing. This was all washed with a delicious bowl of tomato bisque and I don't even like tomato bisque. Well done, Wilfreds. Well done. Wilfred was very welcome to us as parents of a newborn. It was easy to get in and out with our stroller and boyd at the counter to keep an eye on it for us. Since it was safely held behind the door, something from our line of sight, because do not want to block the corridor or the entrance to our neighboring table.

The moment we walked it, we were greeted with a smell of waffles! Love the bright clean decor- would be a great place to have a private party. I don’t know if they do that but it’s a great space. Ordered the Smashed Maple Sandwich Lobster Roll. Can’t wait to come back.
