Carnitas Michoacan - Edmond

Just like everyone has said, it's real authentic Mexican food. I got a carnitas burrito and asada taco. The burrito was gigantic goodness and the taco was great! The salsa was super hot, but tasty, so I ate it anyway. Also, they open at 9AM for breakfast!

This is my favorite place to stop for tacos no matter what I have a hunger for I can get it there and it's always great the best tortas in town bar none it's a very good place when your on a time crunch also they are super quick

This place has awesome tacos! Ordered them over the phone and they were ready when we got there no problem! The lady who took my order and checked me out when I got there was sort of rude but that doesn't matter cause the tacos are out of sight.

My wife and I had eaten here once before and we came in right before closing time and we got the impression that the staff would rather clean up and go home than wait on us.  Understandable, but still....   <br/ <br/ My wife said her food was excellent but I have no real memory of my impressions.  I just know I didn't get tacos.<br/ <br/ This evening, I was in the mood for tacos so I decided to head down to Carnitas Michoacan to give them a try.  Since the tacos are $1.35 each, I figured they were the smaller versions of street tacos so I ordered four:  Beef, marinated pork, chicken and fish.  <br/ <br/ The Marinated pork was excellent, easily matching my usual taco joint on the SW side of OKC.  <br/ <br/ The beef was really good but didn't have nearly as much sauce as the tacos shown in another reviewer's photo.  <br/ <br/ I didn't care at all for the fish or chicken.  Both had the appearance, texture and taste that they had simply been boiled and put on a tortilla with a small amount of chopped onion and cilantro.  Bland and tasteless.  <br/ <br/ I gave this place a four because the beef and marinated pork tacos were good enough to keep me coming back, especially since they are only a few miles away.  Unfortunately, chicken and fish tacos are my favorites and they fail to measure up in this area.
