Contribuiți la feedbackTL;DR sams club fights. check their post or credit card issued for free or greatly reduced membership offers if they consider registering. since the replacement of the old Ford plant in 2010, this sam’s club on the edison towne square is costcos only direct competitor in edison (because the bj’s over rt 1 has no fuelstation and is on life support). Now that the dust has set off, there is no more much of a competition. both price design and selection are clearly different from costco: they will not find the type of premium curated quality that costco or the same variety of local, organic and ethnic foods. the muesli is quite appalling, as the selection is usually alcohol-free. my whole impression is that the inventory is more on the Walmart crowd than on the whole Foods crowd. many of the long-lasting were closer to msrp than at wholesale prices, which asks me whether customers simply don't bother to compare prices. I see many often small discounts on high-resolution gift cards such as southwest or above, but also other wholesalers and retailers have them. Luckily, this place still has the $5 rotisserie huhn, for which costco is known, and in contrast to costco the food dish here has somehow managed to suppress all noticeable price increases on its menu, e.g. vanille froyo is still $1. as a bonus, this location also has free Wi-Fi. I was in all the times of the day at this place and it is a total ghost town every time in comparison to costco. I even came two days before thanksgiving and there were practically no lines in customer service or checkout, which is very telling. masking is a sharp protector among the customers, although most business partners seem to fulfill. in contrast to costco they do not need a member card to go through the front door and look around. Members can use self-checkout or scan-and-go to avoid waiting overall. the customer experience is probably less stressful than a result, although I personally do not expect to renew my club membership when it expires this year.
Its Mess everywhere . Poor service attitude ,The guest in front of me paid in cash, then the cashier ask for supervisor ,I waited there for more than 10 minutes before the supervisor lady came over, without any apology, very bad attitude . It looks like I keep her busy, Very poor shopping experience.
I came in today and asked a cashier leader if they excepted the otc card he said yes, I asked twice! Weiss he said yes, I spent 45 minutes filling my cart with over $100 worth of stuff and I get to the register and find out that they do not except otc, I am not renewing my membership and I left $80 worth of crab legs right in the cart and aluminum foil and other things I was going to buy with cash! no your job verify what you say to people first!
Actually, this is not a cafe. Its a food court. Its an attraction for shoppers who send a few hours to shop and then can relax and eat or drink a few things or thake them home. There is no big menu but whatever is available is tasty and above all very nicely priced. I loved the frozen yogurt and berry sundae. A slice or two of Pizza is an excellent filler !Only if they would offer hot coffee ! I would love the place more !
Great prices! Quality foods. Friendly cashiers! I would 've given 5 stars, but the Edison location, apparently sometimes has wifi issues? Making the 'self scan ' check out, impossible.
