Abdul's - Edinburgh, City of

Just moved back to area and was told about Abduls from a friend. Ordered lamb dhansak which was superb lean tender meat with no “chewy” bits accompanied by a large naan bread. Very reasonable prices compared to other places. Definitely my new local Indian takeaway.

We order from here on a fairly regular basis. Food is always if good quality and hot never had any issues. Would definitely recommend if you live local to this takeaway.

Had the chicken passanda , chicken korma and chicken dansak. It really wasn’t nice. Tasted like dirt. Chicken was tough and tasted old. In general very disappointing. The naans were ok.

We had a family gathering for New Year's and ordered delivery from Abdul's. The food was delicious as always. The variety of curries was excellent and the staff was helpful and friendly. Thank you!

Abdul’s Indian food was the best that I came across in nearly 3 weeks in Edinburgh. The man who took our order was very welcoming, and everything that a group of five people ordered was delicious. Portions are generous and prices are modest. If you are near the south side of Edinburgh, do try Abdul’s! (Note: it’s take out)
