Rise Up Coffee - Edgewater

I love this place. Great atmosphere and the food and coffee products are delicious! I love the banana splat.

I love the Caramel Coffee Smoothie! The bacon, egg and cheese biscuit by Mad Eggs, is so good with some strawberry jelly.Food: 5/5

Drinks and coffee are great but multiple times I’ve ordered the Rise Up burrito and the order somehow doesn’t make it to the back. After 20 minutes and me asking about they start making it.

First went to Annapolis location. Line out the door that was slowly moving of if it was even moving... Got fed up with that went to the Edgewater location. Much more manageable crowd.Took a look at the whole bean coffee selection, had my eye on a Costa Rican.Noticed that the roast date was 4-3-23, today is 4-29, that means that coffee is over 3 weeks old. looked thru all of the beans the closest roast date I could find was 4-13 on a Guatamalan, decided to get this. Beans used for espresso at 92°c 17g in 36g out, coffee was unremarkable and comparable to a store bought generic coffee. Not getting a lot of anything, some roastiness, some black tea, really boring for 17$ a bag imo.Idk about you but for a professional coffee roaster the old roast dates, long lines and relatively boring coffee offerings have made me write off this roaster for good. While there is nothing wrong with the coffee there is nothing remarkable or anything special to write home about. There are better roasters in the area I'll be sticking with them

Hands down the best Rise Up location across the state. The food is great and the coffee is even better.Food: 5/5
