The Hoops Inn - East Hertfordshire

We stumbled upon this pub by chance as we didn't want to navigate through the narrow country lanes to the pubs indicated on the GPS. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and delicious food. We ordered the mussels, paella, and a veggie cheese tart. My paella was filled with large prawns, octopus, clams, mussels, and cockles. The meals were outstandingly tasty and satisfying. The pub is dog-friendly, and the staff even gave our dog a carrot when we asked for one, which was a nice touch. We would definitely return if we happen to be passing by, and I highly recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful evening meal.

Thank you Kevin and team for a great lunch on Sunday 10th July to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Considering we were a large group at lunchtime on a blazing hot day, we had fantastic and friendly, speedy service without a hiccup. Lovely staff, nice food, gorgeous setting.
