Seville Diner - East Brunswick

I had been going to this diner with my family for years, they always had pretty decent food and service but the experience this time was HORRIBLE. i went with my boyfriend on Valentines Day morning to have a nice lunch, we ordered burgers and the salad bar. The salad bar was very basic with white lettuce and few toppings but i sucked it up and put a couple things on my plate anyways because we were hungry. My boyfriend and i discussed how the next time we would skip the salad bar because it was not worth the price they were charging. a couple minutes later i stated feeling nauseous so i stopped eating it and waited for my entree. I ordered an athens turkey burger. The onions were saggy, the tomatoes weren 't red, and all it was was a burger with a pile of feta cheese on it. No tzatziki sauce was on it and it was even more unappetizing in my state. i sat there with it in front of me while my boyfriend ate his bacon cheese burger. He giggled and piled on salt as he mentioned that the burger had no taste. At this point i was very frustrated and asked to speak to the manager. A thin woman with long curly hair came over and asked what the issue was. I explained that the salad bar had made me sick, id be willing to pay for the burger if i could take it home (with the proper ingredients added). She was very rude and responded that it must be me and that i must have been sick before arriving and when i asked about the stuff that was supposed to be included with an athens burger she responded with well did you ask for that . I don 't think you should have to specifically ask for items that the menu says it comes with. I left nauseous, and paying full price for this mediocre meal. As someone with a degree in management and a minor in leadership skills i am horrified with the way this manager acted. They have gone very down hill. Don 't bother telling the manager if you had an issue with the food, because all she will do is blame it on you. REALLY DISAPPOINTED. My family will not be returning to this restaurant.

Don't bother going here. It's not worth the money. I got violently ill from her and so did my kids

This is an impressive diner. You have a large waiting area before entering the dining area. The dining area is exceptionally clean, large and spacious. There are stalls, tables and a counter area to eat. They have a good selection of common diner sandwiches, platers and desserts. The food is good and the portions are right. Prices are reasonable and the service is good. I gave him 4 stars because the food is standard. As far as cleanliness and well maintained, it deserves five stars.

My oasis once a week since I can no longer enjoy breakfast with work in the city. Great food and soothing environment I come with my dad and brother sometimes and my dad is always ecstatic about the salad bar and always seems to choose the most delicious looking items on the menu.

We loved this place. About 2 a.m. after a local visit. Hubby was here before and was happy. We have both French onion soup that was delicious. I have the open tuna melt on rye with Coleslaw and beet. The tuna was absolutely delicious with cheese and tomatoes upstairs. My husband loved the Seville Wrap (Bacon, Egg and Cheese). All foods were fresh and our waitress was a treasure and very efficient and made sure we were happy. Great diner!
