A lot of locals go there because the chef is good and the food is well presented and tasty...albeit not necessarily very good for you. I always have the Full Monty all day breakfast which comes with two eggs, two rashers of bacon, a sausage, baked beans, two rounds of buttered toast and a mug of tea. My brother has the steak pie, chips and peas washed down with a cappuccino. All this for around £10, which is good value for money. The café is always quite full of locals and is a thriving local business.
The English breakfast at this restaurant is delicious and halal. For those looking for black pudding made with pig's blood, they should look elsewhere as this restaurant no longer serves any pork products under new management.
Great place to eat with friendly staff. The momos are delicious and juicy, just like the English breakfast, Nepalese, and Indian cuisine. Everything is fresh and tasty, highly recommended.
The food is consistently delicious and they are very accommodating for families with children.
At first glance, this restaurant may seem like a typical greasy spoon. However, upon closer examination and asking at the counter, a Nepalese menu is revealed. To my surprise, I highly recommend trying the lamb, chicken, or vegetable Momos. Priced at £4 for a plate of ten, they are served piping hot with a spicy chutney and are absolutely delicious. Despite the 20-minute wait, they are well worth it. I have tried Momos in various places around the world, including London, and I must say that these Momos from this unassuming cafe in a London suburb are definitely some of the best I've had.
