Inside is 'cosy ' but there are also seats outside with blankets.<br/ Just off the main road it 's rather quiet and a little gem of a place.<br/ Lunch also is rather imaginative and worth a try.<br/ All in all really good and this is why I return, it will be interesting to see what happens if they expand into next door.<br/
This is one of my favourite cafes in Dublin. The food is fresh, imaginative, high quality, and varies on a regular basis. The inside is a bit small there are only 3 4 tables but there are more tables outside if you're brave enough, where blankets (and occasionally hot water bottles! are provided. The owners and staff are genuinely friendly and down to earth. It's generally just a lovely place to be.
Mc Mahon’s of Botanic Avenue in Glasnevin catches your eye thanks to its bright mint green exterior and the pleasing use of typrewriter font. (Or maybe that’s just a font nerd talking! . Whenever I pass I can’t help but feel envious of the people sitting outside Mc Mahon’s at the red tables along the curve of the footpath that faces the pyramid-like church.<br/ <br/ We had coffees, very nice, and the breakfast sandwich, which was really nice and very filling.
Mcmahons is a lovely little spot.they have plenty of seating outside for the summer &seven have blankets on the chairs incase it gets cold.i had a lovely warm St Kevin's Brie sandwich which was perfect-the Brie flavour wasn't over powering.the staff also are very nice
Stopped in here for shelter after a blustery walk around the botanic gardens one day. It's quite the gem, opposite the church on the corner. I enjoyed a lovely little poppy seed and lemon curd cake, so very cute shaped in a heart and it was moist and tasty. Really lovely and good coffee. They also serve food at the honest to goodness market in Glasnevin Industrial estate on a Saturday. The staff are very welcoming and the cafe itself is super cosy, just lovely.
