Contribuiți la feedbackI'm not a huge tequila fan, but this was one of the best palomas that I've ever had. Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice was the perfect compliment to the smooth tequila. My husband's marg was equally delicious, and I normally don't even like a marg. Food is classic taqueria style street tacos, quesadillas, burritos and the like. My chicken quesadilla came with a huge portion four very large pieces that were overstuffed with chicken. My only complaint is it could've used a little something more, like salsa sour cream aioli. The tequila section on the menu is very impressive and you can even order a tequila flight which is fun. Service is quick and speedy and there is a decent amount of outdoor seating. This is the perfect spot for a post beach taco and cold libation. I'm sure in the summer it's packed and for good reason. I'd absolutely return.
Spotted this nice looking restaurant while searching for somewhere we had not yet tried. Hoping to find a new go to place. The outside deck was full of patrons (a good sign) so we decided to try it out. The inside was empty (not a good sign) except for 2 folks at the bar. We were hopeful and sat at a nice little table indoors. The first thing that I tried was a glass of water. I understand that it was city tap water, but this water was not drinkable. It tasted like chlorine. It smelled like chlorine. They did not have any bottled water to take its place. I asked the waiter (who was very attentive and very nice) to remove it. He did. Next came the guacamole. Avocado with maybe a little onion in it. It was ok. The chips were heavy, salty and greasy. I had to request some salsa to accompany it. At this point, we had yet to receive napkins and utensils. They did have quite an extensive Tequila/Mezcal list. It was very pricey so I decided to skip the alcohol for the evening (I do that sometimes anyway). My friend ordered a Mexican coke (made in the USA ok, not a problem) and 2 shrimp tacos. The 2 tacos arrived. ONE shrimp on each 4 tortilla. It was drowning in red cabbage and had 3 large slices of jalapeño on top. That was it. It must have weighed in at less than an ounce. It did not taste good mostly like cabbage and jalapeño. I ordered a mixed green salad with corn, quinoa, black beans, cheese and lime juice. There was no other dressing on it tasted like I was eating a lime. BUT it was ok and I continued eating it until I was greeted by the GNATS. I couldn't finish my salad without ingesting some of these little creatures. When one landed on my nose, I asked for the check. I usually don't write such a negative review on a place, but this is an exception. We will never go back.
Stopped in for a snack.Nice place. We got a few Tacos and a beer..
My wife and I got a takeout order of the coconut shrimp tacos and an order of beans on Saturday, Sept 25. The food we got was terrible. Each shrimp taco had barely a tablespoon of chopped shrimp and other vegetables. Do not be fooled by the pictures of their food. We 're not even sure we got shrimp and not something else. The tacos were also completely cold. The beans contained a mystery meat that might have been pork. We 're not Jewish, but If it was pork, they should have said as much so their Jewish customers would be able to know as much in advance. What we got was not pleasant or acceptable and certainly not worth what we paid for it. I urge everyone who reads this review to avoid this place as they are clearly unwilling or unable to provide decent food. This place strongly deserves a no stars rating. Perhaps the management will take this message to heart.
Do not recommend. Service was extremely slow and poor. One of the waitresses was very clearly high. The food was very subpar. Overall it was wayyy overpriced.
