Mrs B's Cafe - Derby

I visited this restaurant with friends for breakfast. The service was very slow, and it seemed like the staff were not interested in catering to customers. The prices were quite high for a small town. We ordered three large breakfasts but did not receive all of the toast that was supposed to come with them. It is important to receive what you pay for. There was very little interaction from the staff.

This was our first visit to the cafe, where we ordered two flat whites and two spicy chicken wraps for £10. Initially, we thought it was a good deal until we tried the items. The coffee was average and the food was disappointing - the wrap was small with only a few pieces of southern fried chicken, lettuce, and onion. It was dry and bland, and we had to eat the lettuce with our hands as we weren't provided with any cutlery. We left the cafe still hungry and would not choose to return, opting instead to pay more for a better quality homemade cafe experience.

The service was excellent and everything impressed us, even though we only had a drink and cake. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and deserves a 5-star hygiene rating. It is a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Absolutely fabulous breakfast. friendly staff and great service. the sausages to mention are herbaceous and fleshy. obviously good quality is thrown and not the cheap ones they often find. thick cut toast with real butter also. very cheap and must best caffe breakfast in derby! highly recommended and looking forward to revisiting for the Caribbean cuisine!

They say that the proof of pudding is in eating. but as far as this caffe is concerned, it is more. more!. what dressed me as a fit was the hygiene and cleanliness of everything that could see the eye. the metaphorical refrain that they could eat their dinner from the floor would not be lost, as I was confident that the love to detail with the most important aspekt of each food facility was it's juiceey. I only had time to enjoy tee and will return with confidence that I will not be disappointed. the personal was super friendly and since it was not busy at the time, they took the time to explain their plans to make it an extraordinary customer experience. the focus of the customer is the foundation of a successful business and the involvement as a passion will make the difference between success and failure if it remains consistent. Consistency is everything and this is the challenge. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
