Contribuiți la feedbackI just walked into here, parking lot looks like a warzone. Looks unsafe. When I walk in I think it’s possibly closed or changed names because of confusing signs. I see 2 tables of people being served and a woman from afar asks if I’m picking up or eating. I ask if this is the pancake house and she just breaks eye contact shakes her head and never answers. Terrible
It was my first time ever eating here being that I’m from out of state. We were a table of 7, however we were able to be seated immediately. The 2 lady waitress were very friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was 10/10 pancakes extremely soft and melt in your mouth, the Denver omelet was amazing as well though I added cheese, mushrooms, ham, and lastly the apple juice complimented the entire meal. My overall experience was a 10/10.
This place is one of those hidden gems you stumble upon from time to time. Completely family run, Dad is in back cooking, and daughter serves the tables. I suspect each hides a secret talent you could never guess they possessed at first glance.I 'll tell you rheir secrets now...Firstly, the young lady hostess server althoughshe appears to be scarcely 17, she attends to the front of house with a remarkably professional, attentive, and friendly demeanor. All of which,, belies her youth and what I assumed at first glance would be inexperience. So happy to be reminded not to judge a book by its cover.Same could be said for her father. There is just no other way to say it, he is an incredible cook. After tasting 3 separate breakfast menu items on 3 different occasions at varied times of day, I wouldn 't be the least bit surprised to learn that he is a Michelin Starred Chef. And even if he isn 't my taste buds can 't tell.I always have an incredibly fun 'foodie experience ' in this completely laid back family friendly environment.6 stars! [One of them Michelin .
The food was really good and the waitress and service was delightful. Unfortunately, the space is poorly maintained. I don't think the restaurant owners are dirty, I just think that the fixtures and interior is just so old and worn out that they aren't really cleanable anymore. Owned by the same people that owned the LA Quinta. They let that property fall into disrepair as well.
Tables, chairs and floor looked dirty and sticky, which made me wonder about the condition of the kitchen. Food is mediocre, and two people in my group got our order wrong. It took 45 minutes just to get a table, and another hour to get our food. It seemed that the kitchenwas prioritizing to-go orders, which makes sense, but more balance would have been nice for the poor saps in the booths who kept being told any minute now .I don 't blame the staff for this, I think the place is poorly run in general. And speaking of staff, it makes me wonder what the working conditions must be like. On the day we went, it looked like all the adults had disappeared and the entire place had been left in the hands of three teenagers. My heart went out to those poor kids, who looked incredibly stressed yet remained polite and professional and did their best to take care of us and keep our coffee refilled while they scrambled to fill orders. It is because of them that I give this place two stars when it really deserves none.
