Ruven's Restaurant - Delray Beach

Had there 4 times within 3 weeks, two separate trips, one for a funeral to visit one. Great breakfast. Dawn, our server, made the highlight of everything. We wanted them every time we went back after the first time. Weather was great so we sat outside and enjoyed our breakfast every time. We're more often in Delray. In any case, we eat in Ruvens.

Horrid experience for the third visit (calculated with two previous visits with a substandard server). It is regular server that opens, ALWAYS rushes order and RUSHES to get us out of EVERY TIME. Do not give us time to make the choice of food. What led to this abnormal evaluation? Oh, hi. At the request of Butter Toast once again this visit and their automatic answer I cannot do that due to Covid restrictions I had enough and called them to their lie. Instead of finding a solution that she chose to argue with me, illuminates me and then to the places. When she finally realized that I wasn't holding back and I wanted to go, she closed and announced Fine, I'm gonna wear gloves. Bottom line? She continued to use Covid as an excuse for her laziness. Simple and simple. And for the last, third visit, we were and were always only one of two tables occupied NO apology not to fulfill such a simple task. For the Thanksgiving dinner on Ruven's... big mistake, never again. Totally unorganized and had to wait forever. When the food came FINALLY should be turkey, but it was a turkey roll... terrible! So salty, couldn't eat. my friend ordered the salmon and it was cooked and dry. I'm gonna go back there again, like I ever told my friends and family that WORST dinner in my whole life! Didn't have anything to eat! And this restaurant is not even worth a star! Disgusting to say the least!

Last night we had a party of three and decided to eat in Ruven's. We've been having breakfast for a long time and last night, for the first time dinner guests. Our server was attentive and accommodating. Our meals were served, a dinner was unacceptable. Half a roasted chicken was boiled and the green beans burned. I decided to discuss this with the manager. When I told him that the meal was overcooked, he informed me that he saw my wife cut into the chicken and told me that the white meat of the chicken will be dry. That was an interesting feedback considering that they were busy, and he never saw our way. I found his comments unacceptable, and an apology was never offered. In addition, we were calculated for the side salad and ice tea that was part of the dinner. That was also unacceptable. A manager who does not accept feedback tells me that I'm basically wrong doesn't belong to the business. This was our last time we feed at Ruvens and I will share our experience with friends and family. Totally unacceptable and insulting behavior. There are many other ways to eat in the area and lose customers will not build your business when you take care.

Food was ok. I mean how wrong could a place get fries and eggs BUT the bathrooms are extremely unsanitary. I was blasted with the smell of urine that I gagged. There was also a urinal in there and flooring was laminate so they will absorb wet and for sure that?s one of the problems. Also black mold along bathroom molding on floor and around sink area. I don?t think I will be back here.
