Dockside Deli At Hontoon Landing

Tasty omelet while waiting for the boat. Staff is friendly, plenty of outside seating!!!

We have stopped at the Dockside Deli when boating, when staying at Hontoon Landing Motel and sometimes just drive down from Palatka for breakfast. We have never been disappointed with the food or service. Probably the cleanest place I have visited on the St. Johns River.

Stopped in on a cold rainy day to escape from the houseboat for awhile. Was pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful deli run by two lovely ladies. They make sure their delicious sandwiches and salads are to your satisfaction. And don’t forget the great brownies!!

We usually stay at Hontoon during our wedding anniversary, but unfortunately we won’t be doing that anymore. We were told no dogs so we didn’t bring ours during our stays, yet there were so many people with dogs there….and yes, they were staying there and not just people with boat slips for the day.The deli though, we love it and will continue to stop by for lunch. We love the view of the water while eating dockside and there’s always some kind of entertainment there, as in funny people or things happening there. ?
