Stone Hearth Inn - Decorah

The little restaurant's gone. The restaurant had a decen environment and was opened somewhat later than most other local places. Our waitress was great with suggestions! The Wisconsin cheese curds were great! Steak tasted great, but was cooked a little more than I ordered. You make the best rib every day and it's a big hit! Would recommend. The prices were also fair.

Great place to eat! We were greeted by Mo when we went to the door. She made us a foot (we were the only customers after lunch/before dinner). She gave great recommendations, of which we all took. The food was delicious and cooked for perfection! We loved the fried cauliflower! Thank you. Mo to greet us Decorah, Iowa!!!

Excellent service and good food. Pork chop was perfectly grilled and chicken breast with wild rice was very delicious. Good recommendations for beer from the local brewery. The exterior and the location almost turned us away, but we missed a great meal! If I'm urging the guests of dinner, it's probably protected by the locals who know good food. Would stop.

Annie was the best waitress We had a long time... Has made our overnight stay even better...! The food was delicious... Prime Rib was cooked for perfection!

Great food at a reasonable price. Comfy upstairs dining (including fireplace) or casual downstairs dining with bar. If you are looking for fancy and formal keep driving. If you are looking for classic homestyle food with a great variety on the menu and friendly service I would give this place a try. We have never been disappointed.
