Worst experience. eating is not even common, that would actually be a compliment brioche rolls were all, but fresh and hardly to eat. scones were better deceived, but tasted as they were made the day before. Teebecher had haare (difficult and tassen were not at all...clean. after the fahnen they changed it, but no excuses or similar. for the ridiculously high price and weekend supplement (15%) they would expect significantly more and apart from truly spectacular look and decent cocktails (botanic 36 really good there is absolutely nothing else to remember. $450 later. all we, as family of 2 adult and 2 children, can remember, is the sour taste in the mouth and woman birthday (that was not even noticed, despite the question ended during the booking as impressively inconspicuous (probably an exaggeration.) there are better places. they enjoy high tea and spend so much money. in all respect before the views Shangri-La's is not worth it. please avoid it.
So the intention is beautiful, people beautiful, but when it comes to talking about eating ... the hearty dishes, where tiny and all with a sweet hauch (pork belly with apple-comonie, foie bretzel with jam, brioche with truthahn with the same...yes again, and that is it, only 3 tosen.) the sweet were too vague. we got the free cocktail flow, I expected the cute with sweets that are in the pictures. it was only mixed in karafen like a gin with juice in the ground, totally not worth it. scones were good. Total
I booked the high tee in height restaurant for my daughter 25th birthday and I was very disappointed by the menu. the sweet animal was a mix of berry cake, tar and slices. the aromen were 2 cheeses/prosciutto and 2 fish/seafood-Nibbles, no finger...sandwiches isn't what is the issue of a high tea? to add it from the scorpses were 2 of each, vanilla and strawberry with a blueberry jam and lemon cream. overloading and no ease of the strong aromes on each level. eating looks amazing, but simpleness is best when it serves a high tea. add one or two modern elements to mix it, but to completely change the entire concept, only ruins the experience. we were also served a small teekanne, who kept a cup of tea and asked for a refill. it is a high tee, I want to see big pots of tee to share with pots of hot water to top. at $75-95, I will certainly not go back. I feel like they pay for the sake of clarity, and I can spend this money on an amazing picnic and enjoy it in a different place.
I was with my family for a special occasion yesterday and I was very disappointed! the quality of eating was about a 4/10 for me! I love high tea and make a point to do whenever I can, I have my options this time...and thought I was very impressed by the Shangri-La high tee, but I was certainly not! eating was under average and service was just ok! for a 5-star hotel I expect more! I will not return here for high tee! that's safe:
