The Waters Edge At Giovanni's - Darien

Happy holidays! always wanted to eat here and we finally made it. eating was not great. I had the ny strip and my wife had the lobster. the fall was the service. very slow and their many tables empty while we ate. I could see if the place was busy, maybe my mind would be better. they had two parties in their banquet rooms. I'll come back, but this time in the summer.

Dinner for 3 old expats now retired, the ambiance not to say cozy atmosphere fantastic to discuss old days, service and food outstanding.

The people were friendly and accommodating, the food was outstanding and our experience was wonderful!

Three of us returned after over 20 years, having moved away. Entire experience was outstanding. My wife had the porterhouse steak which was perfect. My prime rib was perhaps the best I ever had. My sister in law tried the NY strip and loved it. The octopus appetizer was excellent, something we never had before. Our waiter, Douglas was wonderful,. We will return every time we visit Darien.
