Got the vegetarian platter, chicken samosa and veggies samosa- So delicious!!! Love the intention and community building Salam Cafe offers.

It is such a great experience. Fantastic good and very friendly atmosphere.

Imagine the sounds of Aster Aweke and Teddy Afro softly playing in the background...the faint smell of incense and you have the backdrop for this Ethiopian Restaurant in Germantown Philadelphia. It's a must go because it is an East African culinary vibe that is clean, has a friendly staff and most of all the best Ethiopian food in Philadelphia. I had the lamb tibs with gomen (chopped collard greens) and seasoned lentils. Delicious and seasoned to perfection. It is served with injera which is like a spongy textured flatbread that is used to sop up all the tasty goodies on your plate. This is made fresh on the premises. There is also a great selection of vegan options. While I was waiting the manager made me some fresh Ethiopian coffee. If you want to enjoy a meal by yourself or with friends this is the place.

Excellent food. Not everything on the menu was available, but it didn'tatter because everything was delicious.
