Visited on a Saturday early afternoon for dine-in. Very clean space, decent atmosphere. Restaurant is a refurbished diner car that is split into a dining area (6 tables and a waiting area for pick-up/take-out. The halal meals are the entree item plus your choice of two sides (salad or one of their hot vegetarian dishes at the buffet , rice (basmati with peas and carrots , and naan (which is freshly fried. The cashier was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The wait time for my food to come out was 20-30min (and they also tell you on their menus how long certain food will take to cook , because it's all made to order! Ordered the Saturday vegetarian special (there is a daily rotation , which was the Spinach and Potatoes. Very delicious. The okra side was also memorable, and my salad was fresh. Will have to come back for the rest of the vegetarian menu, their $1 samosas, tea, and mango lassi. Highly recommend for families and students.

I have been going to Kabobessh for over 15 years. The food, staff and atmosphere is always top notch. If your in the Philadelphia area and looking for Soulfood Desi Halal foood give them a try.
