Thai Curry - Cypress

I had a bad takeout experience here a couple of years ago but I decided to give it another try and I’m glad I did! The basil fried rice is so good!

First time trying this place. Started off with frozen potstickers. Canceled our order and went next door to Jinya. Service was friendly.

After my experience tonight I would give this place negative stars. I’ve been coming to this location for years never had I ever had such a terrible experience as I did tonight. We drove 56 mins to dine at this location the service was absolutely horrendous. Our food didn’t come out the way we requested-spicy level we requested was a 4 the food came at mild level. When I asked the waitress why our food wasn’t a level 4, she said the kitchen must’ve “forgot” to make it a spice level 4. I kindly asked the waitress if they can remake it to our desired spice level liking she said you can just add the spicy ground Thai powder that was on the table. I asked her if she could take back my entire order including fried rice which were also requested to be spicy and please fix it. The waitress then asked rudely “do you want me to boil it?” Not to mention the white rice that came alongside my curry was plated so poorly you could clearly tell that they threw the last customers leftover white rice on our plate. White rice had brown particles in it not sure what that was but I didn’t eat any of the food. Literally left all my food untouched. Paid in cash and left the restaurant and went to their other location on hwy6 since we didn’t touch or eat our food at the cypress location due to their rude service and poor way of serving food to their loyal customers of 5 years that drove so far for such food that came with a side of the waitress’s attitude. The golden bag (cheese puffs) were burnt there was little to no cheese in them the waitress never came and checked on us after bringing us our food. There was NO serving utensils in our food so I had to go ask the lady at the register to provide me with serving utensils so that I could get some food. By the way I was treated by this business tonight was unacceptable and the service here was trash today. We drove 56 mins to come to this Thai restaurant because the food used to be some of the best Thai food in Houston but never will I ever return to their cypress location. I wish I would have taken pics of the food they served me because the leftover white rice they gave me looked like it was eaten out of from another customer that had dined there before us. Absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable. With the side of attitude that no one asked for. I am shocked cuz I’ve been coming here for years I bring friends and family to this restaurant with me and this experience just left a bad taste in my mouth for this business. Save yourself the trouble and go to any of their other locations. The staff is rude and they serve the food in a manner that you wouldn’t even give to your dog. DO NOT RECOMMEND THE CYPRESS LOCATION!!!!!

Nice small place with plenty of seating and quick service.We ordered and had our food in no time.Appetizers consisted of pot stickers and egg rolls, both tasty and freshly made.I had the beef boat noodles which were rich, flavorful and filled with meat.My wife got the Pad Thai and said it was delicious!I'm going to have to return to try the larb.

Order garden fresh with chicken. Got my order and there was no peppers,mushrooms, or corn. I returned to have them fix it to my surprise the only veggie they added was corn. Called them again and she wanted me to come back again. I could only laugh. Never offered a refund or to replace the order another day. She thanked me for letting her know. smh
