Contribuiți la feedbackAt first glance looked that is going to be a great experience. The way that the place and the crew was presented, the welcoming part. With this I have no negative things to say at all. Supporting staff was excellent and behaved professionally.But Chef did not say a word at all the whole hour and a half (I could say that he even liked pissed), and he did not cook almost at all (except the filet of beef of the last main course and the tuna of the second). All the other work was decorating plates with food that was previously cooked and unevenly wormed up. The tuna was cooked unevenly, some of the pieces were half raw, and some of the others all the way through without being consistent and blunt taste. The beef was hard and chewy, not a fine dining quality at all. And even the sauces were poured out from used ketchup style plastic containers (At least if you do it, hide them so clients cannot see that).Overall I could say that I would not try this again.
This is truly a one of kind experience. The service and food are impeccable. The head waiter, Jesus Rosales, is a very kind, respectful and professional man. Chef Ruben is a magician in the kitchen-- WOW! We were able to have 3 meals here and loved every single course. Rubén visits guests and talks to us about his food creations. PEDRO was an amazing and courteous waiter. Pedro always thanked his help and Pedro also went out of his way to make our experience great. Michel, Jorge, Omar and Felix were all excellent waiters. Yaneth is an excellent hostess.If you are looking for an amazing culinary experience, you must try out Chef Plate. The best restaurant on the planet!
You can only get to this restaurant once during your stay at Hyatt Zilara. We looked at the menu and found Saturday has what I preferred though other days are good too. Went 10 minutes early and got appletini from the waiter, Noe. Better drink than the pool bar. We're seated promptly and the chef, Karen, was preparing the kitchen. Noe tried to tell the guests the food served. There were six different dishes from appetizer to main course. I tell you, from the beginning to end they served delicious food. It is not an average food, they were excellent delicious food. I savor each dish and was so amazed with the flavor and the presentation. Sure I want to experience other day menu. I recommend this restaurant if you will stay at Hyatt Zilara.
After staying in one of the suites that is supposed to include access to the Chef's Plate restaurant 2x, we finally got on the list for the 9pm seating. I had high hopes and had booked this as our anniversary meal. The staff came and met us at the main building to walk us into the little restaurant. I really wanted to enjoy this meal, but it just seemed awkward and rushed. People were socializing and interrupted by the announcement of the next courses. I get it, that's part of the deal, but it seemed very rushed. They even took my husband's salad Plate away before he was half way done. The food itself was just ok. The salad was my favorite. After how difficult it was to get a reservation, we wished we ate at Maria Marie instead.
Their menu is different everyday, would suggest to look up menu before going to avoid food that you do not like to eat. Also make sure you make the reservation when check in at the hotel as it is very easily to get fully booked since they only have each day at 6pm and 9pm and only about 16 people each time. Also, it is not the usual private dining table, you will have to eat with other people , so be prepared. Overall I would say the food is average quality. The only different is the chef cooks in front of you.
