Deluise Bakery - Cranston

This morning David the baker made a childhood dream come true. Growing up my Dad every Christmas used to order Italian rum cakes from a long gone bakery in Providence whose recipe died with the owner...a type of Zuppa Inglese for those of you who can identify. After my brother and I decided this year we'd love to have a baker recreate it I found Dave. It looks to be a masterpiece filled with layers of chocolate cream, custard cream with peaches and strawberries and a light glaze on top with Buon Natale and fresh fruit. Of course there will be a light rum extract in the cake. Why not take a chance and order one too! I want to thank Dave and the staff at De Louise for making me feel like a kid again waiting for Santa Claus..

I ordered 3 1/2 dozen of minature cream pastries for my son's Confirmation party yesterday. When I picked them up I was in awe by the size of them because they were huge for miniatures, and by comparison to other bakeries! They were soooooo fresh and delicious; never again will I order from any other bakery other then Deluise! Absolutely phenomenal!

Zeppoles are always great. Service was fast and friendly even though they were packed with customers.

Great find! A sweet little Italian bakery I discovered on Chalkstone Avenue in Providence, RI. Everything looked great! There chocolate zeppole was voted #1 by the Providence Journal. So I had to try one! What a great choice! Stop by the owner staff made you feel at home.
