Galliano - Cozumel

Fun decor. Nice serving staff, but not as attentive they needed to be. Forgot some of our order here and there. The alligator was chewy to the point you had to make yourself swallow it. The gumbo was pretty good. Their grits dish had a softshell crab that wasn't easily chewed, either. Overall, our group wasn't impressed. Pretty overpriced.

Menu was true New Orleans. Seafood was fresh and very well prepared. Tori, our server, knew and understood the menu to the point she was able to recommended the perfect wine. She made sure our meal was a dining experience. Great food, service and quite place to enjoy all.

I ate here last night for the first time. I’m telling you they have the best steak in New Orleans. We ordered oysters raw and charbroiled, a filet, and ny strip. It was served rare on a sizzling lava stone… woke up thinking about it. The owner even came to our table and chatted.

This restaurant is officially one of my favorites. The 8 oz. Filet topped with jumbo shrimp was served sizzling the entire time I was eating. The oysters were awesome raw and charbroiled. The gumbo was on point, the bar selections was top shelf and the owner comped this chocolate layered cake. Yes lawd!

Very attentive staff and great food presentation; very good and spicy gumbo.
