Bayou - Cozumel

Came on Halloween, the location is not large 7—9 tables with 2 to 3 servers. Wasn't greeted o acknowledged, until 20 mins after we sat ourselves… Randall(bartender and waiter) finally greeted us, rocky at first and but ultimately pleasant. Tried a sidecar and a cocktail named “appley everafter”. The sidecar was made with a “74fox brandy”. There are no sidecars on the menu btw. The brandy reminded me of a Bacardi gold. Great bar! Good selection of craft cocktails, reasonably priced beers, and a good whiskey selection. The food was really great (although a bit pricey) and they had live music which was really nice. The server was very friendly throughout the night. Definitely recommend this place!

Love this little bar, usually really good live music on weekends (Andre Lovett Band). Drinks can be a little pricey, but bartenders are usually quite friendly and knowledgeable. My only knock, why the minus one star, is that the sound just isn't that good. Not sure if anything can be done about it or it's just the room, but good sound would take this place to 5 stars. Also really nice bathrooms.

Spoke with head bartender..... he's awesome. Dude takes it to a whole professional level and makes you feel the atmosphere of the bar. Very nice
