Abuelo Gerardo - COZUMEL

Sone of the best food in Coz! Seafood is super fresh and done to perfection. Had the red snapper, best ever. Authentic and fun environment. Price was very fair, well worth it.

We ordered the special tacos, shrimp quesadillas, and margarita and they were all perfect. I am always leery about ordering beef but this beef taco tasted fresh and seasoned well. The service was on time and friendly

While we have always liked the place, they continue to add a propina even though that is illegal. For that reason, we will no longer patronize this establishment. When I asked the waiter why they added a tip he just giggled. The dumb part is, we would have tipped more than the tip they charged if they’d just not try to scam the gringos.

So refreshing, finally a place where everything is posible. The service is way beyond average in the area. The food is really good, great portions. The prices totally fair. Great option in Cozumel.

Great ambience. Reasonable prices. Delicious food (I loved the fried platanos). Friendly staff. Convenient to the ferry docks and downtown Cozumel area (if you can run the gauntlet of tequila and Cuban cigar hawkers that line the streets of Cozumel).
