Fredwell Café Patisserie - Cowbridge

The menu is short which is good as you can choose easily. The breakfasts are great and the feta on french toast is delicious. The pancakes and waffles will always be a good shout too.

Albeit since my visit I can see a Facebook post that was published around 8 weeks ago I was very disappointed with not being able to eat there. We visited with our 18 month old and there was no high chairs. The place looked amazing and so did the food. A high chair in Ikea is £15. They advertise as dog friendly so I was really surprised to not be able to take my child. I can only assume they don’t want children about. We drove into Cowbridge and ate elsewhere and the bill was £65, enough to pay for 4 high chairs. Such a shame but I hope it changes as I would love to visit.

Great location with a small simple menu that focuses on ingredients and quality

Lovely spot with inside and outside areas our dog was welcomed inside. Service was friendly and accurate , food was great but I think something vegan would be good for both meals and cakes. Could we have some info on the milks available for the coffees and serviettes provided for us messier eaters! Overall thoroughly recommended .

Food was lovely. There was a delay and mix up with our order. But to make up for it we were treated with very good customer service as an apology. That was very kind.
