Chuy's - Corpus Christi

Some of the best queso I've ever had and service was fantastic! We will definitely be going back. Different themed rooms was a neat environment and shirts for sale are on my wish list. The salsa was a bit spicy for me and I was more than accommodated. Excited to take my kids next time. The wall of celebrities dressed like Elvis put a smile on my face.

Upon entering the restaurant it's smelled like roach spray and we were not greeted the workers just continued to talk as if we were not there and finally they greeted us. We were sat down and not acknowledged until we called for a waiter. The service we received was rude with attitude. We received only 1 drink and decided to take our business elsewhere. Management was no help they were rude as well. The restaurant was unsanitary looking/smelling. I recommend y'all visit other restaurants in town this is not the place to spend even .50!

I went to pick up my order and the waitstaff from Chuys treated me like dirt. I was sent by the hostess to pick up my order near the kitchen. 2 waitresses passed me without even looking up. Another employee walked past me and said excuse me in a way that made it sound like I was inconveniencing him even tho I was told to wait there and someone would help me. Finally one of the first waitresses that walked past and said someone will be right with you but still not very friendly. Finally someone possibly the manage came and asked if I had been helped and she brought me my order. I don't know if they thought I was a door dash driver or what but it shouldn't matter. No one should be treated like you're not there and thats how it seemed and it was very uncomfortable. Even more so when you're a paying customer. I seriously hope they don't treat the Doordash drivers like **** the way I was treated. This has made me question whether I want to order from or eat at Chuys anymore.

I wasn't here long and I really don't know why. The food was very good, my husband got the Elvis Special and I got one of the specials. There was a lot of food. I liked the Tex Mex sauce on my enchiladas and the queen on an enchilada and on the chulupa was very good and I guess it wasn't used in a small cafeteria bowl to get a special in another restaurant in the city, it was in a small Arta taco like crispy bowl when I ask why it wasn't in this, I was said? The salsa was also very fresh. I took half of my lunch home, and our waiter Scout, who was very good, told us to try the GIANT Burritos next time. We have decided when we come back, we will share one. The beef taco was good, it did not break, and it even stood up as it had a flat ground. My only disappointment was that they don't have FLAN!!! Who cares about Tres Leches Cake I can get this at HEB

Just wow. I was really surprised how good the food was. They served chips with salsa and dip. They were amazing. Service was amazing, server was wonderful and helped some recommendations for the food. After the order was placed, food came without waiting long. The Burritos are as big as Yo-face and very good. I have the chicken burrito with the boom boom sauce and I seriously think about getting it back when we go back.
