Lovely friendly pub with accomodation. We stayed Friday night with our 2 large dogs. Everyone very friendly, comfortable room with cracking views if Falmouth. Free on road parking a little park to let the dogs off close by. Great breakfast Would Deffinately stay again many thanks.
This is my third time having Sunday roast here in the past five weeks. I couldn't finish it all this time, so I brought some home for bubble and squeak tomorrow. They serve the roast on warm plates, which is a nice touch. The availability of meats can vary, but we were able to enjoy lamb each time we visited, which is a rarity at other venues in my opinion. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but it may take some practice to navigate comfortably.
Down in Falmouth area for a week and wanted a traditional Sunday lunch, all the places near the quay a bit pricey and trying to outdo each other with presentation. Decided to give the Seaview a try. A great traditional pub, great service, very welcoming, especially for our dog Martha, who was fed gravy bones from a tin on the bar by the landlord. The Sunday lunch was amazing, everything cooked just right and no charges for extra gravy (not that it needed it) or Cauliflower cheese! Great views out over the harbour, well until it misted over, but still a great little pub to visit.
The Sunday carvery roast here is stupendous value, £7.25 for small plates £11 for large. We had the small which was more than enough. Choice of five meats, lamb was so tender, and every conceivable vegetable incuding cauliflower cheese. Some places charge extra for this and it makes such a difference to have this included. Great pork crackling too. Some of the veggies were not terribly hot but I always half expect this with a carvery. Lovely pub in fantastic position overlooking Carrick Roads. Definitely tecommend
