Joeys only Seafood Restaurant

We had the two pieces out. The chips were fine, but the fish for the three of us was overdue. In fact, the fish my wife had was so hard that she couldn't even chew him. We're not coming back.

New waitress didn't bother to write something, came back three times to ask for order and still got it wrong. I had lobsters and shrimps. Sourdough and Coleslaw were good. No shrimp or lobster in sandwich. It was a cheese and onion sandwich, with a little diced pollen in it. The lobster broth had a finely cut lobster bone in it, mostly cream and spice. With some entrees for fish and chips at $40 the cheap rating for this restaurant must have associated with the food quality. Chowder was just out of a can.

I made a reservation online (no choice for 6 of us for a birthday party. I wanted a stand, but I didn't see a seat online. On the day before our date I got a 'reminder'?!!! The message also informed me that because they are very busy, we would have 2 hours to eat! I don't need a reminder, I made the reservation! What if I'm a slow eater? Already I felt that they really wanted my money and then I could go on. When I arrived, I asked for a stand, but they said they were all reserved. It was 4:00, the restaurant was almost empty! When I asked how I could hold back and the young woman looked at me with some contempt and said: "There is an edit button on the reservation page" and that "you were called to remind you of the time and you would have asked ". We sat at a big table and waited for b y a nice young guy (Michael I think he came to take our order with a tablet!! He mentioned that it was a new thing and worked really hard to get everything right. My son always orders something complicated! The poor waiter could not even make eye contact with us, as every small element had to be scanned! e got free champagne, which was most appreciated! When the food came, there were several mistakes (technology???) that they worked very hard to correct. The waiting staff was GREAT like the food! The dessert came, decorated and with a candle that was a beautiful touch. This just came over the 2 hours mark and I wondered if we were asked to "go," but the restaurant was not so busy. At least 3 stands were empty! I'm not going to rush back because the food is quite expensive, and I understand why. (The Steak menu is ridiculous and if I spend this kind of money I will do this in a place that treats people like guests, not like dollar signs.

We ate at that restaurant a few times. It is not a fancy restaurant but there is a good atmosphere to it. The food is quite good but there is a lack of consistency in the size of portions being served considering our various visits....On our last visit, service was not very good and the waitress definitely had an attitude and was not friendly at all. It took about 15 minutes for the waitress to bring us the menus although the restaurant had only a few customers. Very long delay before being served with our food and the food temperature was only lukewarm. Very disappointed with our latest experience and we decided to take a break from this venue. Certainly hope that management will see to improve customer service
