Contribuiți la feedbackIf you're in Sedona, the drive to Harry's Hideaway is certainly worth it. Don't miss this special treat. The appetizers are great, and enough to share. The Crab Cake is the best in California, made by the Chef, a Maryland native. The Croat is bite-sized Beef Wellington. Yum. There is a choice of entrees. I chose the Dal Mar (Italian) with Scallops and Ravioli. The three-cheese ravioli is creamy, tasty and satisfying. My husband chose the Beef Stroganoff, a new version. I am a purist her, but he loved it. For dessert, we shared the twin Apple Tartlets al la mode. That was gone in a flash. Perfect. This is an interesting, personal restaurant. You will love the experience.
Gem of a restaurant off the beaten path in Cornville. We live around the corner and have been meaning to stop in since new owners took over. We were blown away tonight. Haven't had a meal like this in years. We savored every bite. We started with two craft cocktails, Tommy Boys a contemporary twist on a Tom Collins. We split the crab cake. It was so beautiful we didn't want to eat it but savored every crabby morsel. We then switched to wine and had perfectly paired wines with the Del Mare seafood plate with scallops, basil and cheese ravioli and meatloaf, parsnip potatoes and sugar snap peas. Don't wait, go here now! You will be so happy you did.
Came here with my parents and grandmother and were really, really wow'd. World class food, beautifully plated, and served by friendly face. Everything is locally sourced. As an appetizer we had the fromage plate, which was fried cheese curds, served with orange clover honey with pecan dust !! . The entrees were America's fusion and really just incredible all around in terms of favor and thoughtful additions. We ended our meal with a NY cheesecake with cinnamon drizzle. I will say the restaurant is intimate, and only serves dinner. So, be sure to make a reservation.
Finally got around to trying Harry's since it changed hands. I liked it a lot. The menu has changed somewhat as this eatery moves into its own. Some of Harry's classics are still there like his crab cakes which are very good. It will soon change names and assume its own identity. I look forward to observing the full transition. This is not a place I will frequent because it's pricey for what you get. Granted their food is freshly prepared with high quality ingredients but the place lacks ambiance. Nothing fancy. Kind of divey actually but very clean and nicely decorated. I miss Adele who was the perfect combination of attentiveness and laid back style. Not overbearing or one to put on airs. She also made the best Manhattan in the Verde Valley, maybe the entire state!
Outside of our day long visit at Page Springs Cellars, Bryan and I found ourselves stumped where to eat dinner, so they suggested Harry 's Hideaway. The drive from PSC (Page Springs Cellars), seriously only took us a couple minutes to get to this quaint little mom and pop type restaurant. However, this is not your local diner nor is it a hole-in-the-wall type find. I 'd actually compare it to a diamond in the rough. The decor is warm, eclectic, and inviting. There is a patio out back that accommodates a few small groups since the inside of the restaurant is not big to begin with. We sat at one of the 3 cafe sized two seater tables outside the entrance to the restaurant. Harry 's wife came out and introduced herself and explained each menu item from a large wine shaped chalkboard of specialties. It 's not every day that a restaurant owner/chef and his wife come and greet and get to know their patrons. This smaller setting allows them to give their patrons a better and more personal experience. The warm garlic and goat cheese appetizer served with bread is definitely a treat! It was kind of windy and cooler when we visited during the spring, so the flavor and warm temperature of the melted cheese and garlic was perfect timing! The crab cake is one of Harry 's best specialties, as his wife recommended, so being a crustacean fan, I did not hesitate to order the crab cake and ordered it with a side of scalloped baked cheesy potatoes. It did not disappoint! I would order it again in a heartbeat! Bryan ordered a burger that was on the chalkboard and not on their regular menu. It was a bit spicy since it had jalepenos on it, but not too spicy. He really enjoyed it as well. For dessert, we shared a tart apple cobbler a la mode. It definitely had that homemade flair to it and instead of being mush, the apples had the tiniest bit of crunch to them but still soft at the same time. It tasted fresh and super tart and the sauce was not overwhelming at all. Harry 's Hideway is definitely a unique find! I 'm so glad PSC recommended that we go there! But just a side tip, it 's definitely a place to bring smaller groups since the restaurant is not that big.
