Basil Market Deli - Cork

Had a Chicken and Pesto sandwich here today and it was the best ever, lovely bread, plenty of chicken and homemade pesto....will be going back. My sister had soup and she said it was delicious, they had a wonderful selection of salads...lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Coffee was very good too. Cakes looked delicious, tho we did not try any. Also have plenty of options for take away and seemed to be doing a good take away business. Will be back there next week for sure.

This is a deli that sells good coffee and cakes along with chilled meals and fresh salads. The staff are very good and attentive, it's worth calling here for coffee and a cake.

Basil is a deli and cafe, the coffee is excellent and their cakes really good their chocolate brownies are too die for and they do magnificent Bakewell slices and delicious caramel donuts to name a few! The food is all freely made daily and the sandwiches are really good. They also do a range of salads and ready made meals that are good too, Staff really nice, definitely put it on your radar

Visited last week for coffees, limited seating area as this is mainly a dele serving the most delicious salads. Picked up a fish pie to bring home for dinner! Probably the most delicious prepared meal I have ever had. If you are in Ballintemple be sure to visit-great food, great service.

Kept meaning to drop in and finally did today and what a pleasant surprise, it’s bigger inside than you would think and a very extensive range of deli items ready meals lovely salads and they even sell wine. It’s very well laid out and s nice atmosphere with friendly staff and most importantly great coffee.
