The pandemic menu offered on Fridays at 11 AM is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The typical selection includes four soul food choices, complemented by rice from the steam table and six vegetable options. The main dishes rotate and may feature items like fried chicken, pulled pork, chicken dumplings, brisket tips, and more. Each lunch includes a salad, cornbread, dessert (usually classic icebox cake), and a drink (I love the unsweetened tea and Kool-Aid!). Please note that the salad bar may not be available due to pandemic restrictions. This is a counter-service restaurant, so you simply go to the counter to order either a lunch plate or something from the seafood or BBQ options available. The pandemic menu on Fridays at 11 AM is truly worth checking out!

Oh my goodness, I have to say this is the best food I’ve ever had! You should definitely try it—you’ll be thanking me later. Plus, it’s affordable and absolutely delicious!

The building is lovely. I attended a friend's mother's funeral at this church, and I must say, the Pastor was very gracious in allowing the homegoing service to take place there. He even stayed for about 30 minutes, which was a thoughtful gesture considering how busy he is. It meant a lot, especially since he didn't personally know the deceased. It was a nice touch.
