Contribuiți la feedbackI can't put into words how thankful I am to have found this amazing office in a more rural area. While others have shrugged us off because they aren't familiar with the breed, Dr. Fischera is always confident in her approach.Try to remember that each staff member works an extremely stressful job and show them grace. We have no idea what they experience day to day, and it takes a very special strength to do what they do!
Highly recommend! We came in from Statesville, as this was the closest vet with last minute availability on a Sunday afternoon. Staff was extremely friendly and warm. They took great care of our Great Dane and they had a really comfortable lobby for us.
We brought our little Maltipoo, Lucy, in for a checkup after being referred by a friend. We were very impressed with the clinic as a whole from the reception area to the back office. We hardly had any wait time and we were brought back very quickly. Our vet assistant took her time with us, was very friendly and knowledgeable and seemed very caring towards Lucy. Dr. Fichera is excellent in that she was very thorough yet was also making sure we didn’t get tests done that weren’t needed at this time. She told us what the process was in checking for Cushing’s disease and was also very caring in her approach. I recommend this office highly and I’m glad we have found a place we can entrust our Lucy when we need medical care for her.
We found Shadow Ridge shortly after moving to the area. One of our pups started struggling with his mobility to the point where he couldn't stand by himself. The office was not only open on Sunday but met us outside with a stretcher for him. We had a diagnosis and treatment plan within hours. Since this experience we have had nothing but top notch care and love for all of our pets from the staff at Shadow Ridge. We have since switched all of our animals over as patients with them. I could not recommend them enough.
The people are friendly and they seem to really care about the animals. It 's supposed to only be $60 for an appointment but even after I called when we got there with our dog mom 'ma they said it would be $115 for an emergency visit that wasn 't supposed to an emergency.. and during the visit I authorized them to take pictures of as that was on her abdomen, do blood work which was going to be an extra $250 for the pictures and $50 for the blood work to be sent off, only for them to call me and tell me that she needed a surgery that would cost $2,500 to 4,500, and they only sent her home giving her fluids, no blood work no pictures taken of the mass with me paying the $115 deposit for the appointment. And I paid an extra $100 for medication. So they 're probably a good vet if you need regular maintenance care done on your dog but not if there 's really something wrong with your dog.
