Contribuiți la feedbackDuring our three-month stay near Village Inn Hotel in Goa in January 2019, we discovered Tuna, the hotel's own restaurant. We dined there regularly, impressed by the well-presented and delicious food, as well as the friendly and helpful staff led by Agnelo and Peter. They happily explained dishes, made recommendations, and even accommodated special requests. Tuna quickly became our favorite restaurant in South Goa, and we highly recommend it for those seeking great food and a warm, family-run atmosphere. We look forward to dining there again on our next visit in October. Thank you, Agnelo and Peter. John Ann.
Located just across the road from Baltons, this restaurant is a hidden gem. In fact, it is also a guest house. During our trip to Goa, we planned to dine at a different place each day. However, we couldn't resist revisiting this restaurant multiple times. This speaks volumes about the quality of the food and service. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
We come to Goa for 5 months each winter from England. We live very close to the Tuna Restaurant and Village Hotel in Arrosim South Goa. When we arrived on 9th November 2016, Prime Minister Modi had stopped the use of the 1000 and 500 rupee notes. We were completely lost, as we could not get our English money changed and the ATM's were all closed. However, the owners of The Tuna Restaurant, Agnelo and Peter, came to our rescue. They let us open a tab and allowed us to have breakfasts and evening meals on the house until the situation with the money improved. We couldn't thank them enough. We love the restaurant and the food is always excellent. The prices are good and the young waiters are always very polite and helpful. We would recommend this hotel to other guests as it is always first class. Margaret and Frank Wray.
We decided to try this little place, which is part of the village inn hotel, in Uttorda, last year when we popped in for a drink. We arrived and were greeted by the waiter like long lost friends he was very welcoming. We were with our friends and three of us ate Indian cuisine which was great apart from a soggy paratha, would give that a miss next time but the biryanis, aloo dish and jalfrezi were great, and all the time we were served by this wonderful guy, just wish we had got his name but he was kept very busy by three Indian guys who were being as demanding as usual lol.
We were traveling from Aviation museum to bettys place. On the way we needed lunch as I was driving with GPS. Exterior is quite good so we went inside. We don't repent for our decision. Vegetation food was good with a very nominal pricing. I ordered one fish which was very costly as Goa is a fishing town and these guys get fresh catch. Even a Goan beer was expensive which is common in most Goan hotels. They get some foreigners and that is why they charge more it seems. Goan hospitable industry should keep it in mind as many Indians are also contributing to Goa`s economy in tourism.
