Cecelia - Colva

My wife and I and friends visited this beach shack nearly everyday for a fortnight during December 2016-January 2017. We stumbled across this shack as we were staying at bay watch hotel which is literally 5 mins away because the hotel had no tables or chairs to sit outside during the day and the drinks were extortionate. We were met everyday with a warm welcome from Cecelia, Saira, Fatima and eventually jessel and scooter Aunty. The food here is exceptional, the fish is so fresh and the portions are superb. The king prawn vindaloo dish is to die for and biryanis are so tasty. The drinks are so cheap you can drink and eat all day for about £20 per person. Cecilia is the main cook along with scooter Aunty and Fatima doubles as a waitress and jewellery seller and henna tattooist and manicure and pedicure for ladies. Saira is a waitress and fruit seller. Jessel is the main man of the shack. He sets beds up at 6 am and is still serving drinks at 11pm, he is a lovely man who when you get to know him will do anything for you. The sun beds are free whilst your eating and drinking on a stunning beach which is beautiful and quiet compared to Calangute and baga. Wifi is also in this shack. All in all these people and this shack made my holiday and also the other 9 people on our trip. Visit this place it is amazing

The family that run Cecelia are so friendly and welcoming you cant help but have a great time. Located on Sernabatim beach which is a lot quieter then Colva or Banaulim beach it is the first shack on the left when you go down the steps to the beach but we were told that it had only just moved there this season. We visited quite a few times during our holiday and never had a bad meal in fact the King prawns in garlic are amazing, My father also had beef stake which he said was the best he had tasted in a long time. The Sun beds are comfy and they will always get you a extra umbrella or help move the beds if you need to. The girls as well as serving food and drink will also give a good massage or make you that extra special drink so please don't be scared to ask for something that's not on the menu. We will be back there the next time we visit the Colva area.

We had a lot of meals and drinks here, it would definitely recommend soloman and his family are very polite and will help them if they need it, eating is brilliant and the drinks are always ice cold.
