Contribuiți la feedbackI am currently staying in the area and I was delighted to find a new dining option for dinner.
This restaurant offers a more upscale dining experience where you place your order at the counter before they bring your food to your table.
I had heard about Northstar Cafe and decided to give it a try. When we arrived, there was a long line before we could place our order (about 8 minutes) and then we found a seat outside to wait. After waiting for 15 minutes, we asked a staff member how much longer, and five minutes later, they brought out our dishes along with two free meal vouchers for next time. Despite the slow service, the food was abundant, flavorful, and delicious! My Buddha Bowl was filled with vegetables including mint, basil, broccoli, and fried carrots (which provided a great crunch) with a delicious peanut sauce. I wished there was more tofu in it, though. The big bowl cost $14.50 and there were leftovers. Overall, there are both pros and cons, but I recommend stopping by if you have the chance! I suggest going on Monday-Wednesday to avoid the crowds.
This is one of those places where the menu doesn’t look all that exciting at first glance, but the food is really tasty. They have an excellent veggie burger, good sides, awesome salads. The Midwest can be hard on vegans so this place, which has several locations, is a really good option when eating with omnivores.
Great place to go if you have meat eater with you but I think it’s too expensive.
