Sushi Hibachi To Go - Columbia

LOVE the sushi here. My husband and I love to treat ourselves and they do such a wonderful job preparing the food. However, this is the second time in the past few years that they have closed with zero notice. I hope it is just temporary!

Nice quick service and to go packaging but sadly most of the food was inedible. Sushi was oddly very warm and fish tasted rotten. Soy sauce had no flavor and egg rolls were extremely chewy and stale. Ended up having to throw it all awayFood: 1/5

Sorry, but I had to get a DoorDash credit of $97 and throw it in the trash. I then ordered McDonalds. The sauces had no flavor. It's as if they were watered down. Even the soy sauce packets had no flavor...as in no of the three people in my family could taste any saltiness or flavor. Weird.

This food was horrific. I had the steak hibachi and let me tell you, that was not steak. Their yummy sauce was so sweet like icing. The rice didn't taste like rice. Don't eat here

Dingy little takeout place in a rough spot with difficult access if you are heading West on Elmwood. Quick, nice staff.Flavor of sauce below average for teriyaki, but they pulled off the rare feat of keeping white meat chicken chunks tender and juicy, and the veggies still crunchy. That goes a long way in my book and so I enjoyed it. Price high at $12, but it was a huge portion so I'm satisfied. Yum yum sauce more gingery and sweet than most places heavy mayo one. I liked it, but the size tub was way too small for the amount of food, same with an extra $0.50 eel sauce tub.I'll come back and update w more dishes.Update: I've since had red curry chicken, also very good. However, was disappointed in hibachi steak and shrimp, both overcooked and tough, and the basic hibachi flavor not as good as teriyaki or curry. Gonna stick with chicken from now on. Also, note that online ordering has an extra service charge, so call instead.
