Terraco Da Alta - Coimbra

Starters were beautifully presented and the tuna tartare was prepared at the table. The main courses were underwhelming and cold on cold plates. We were misguided by the waiter at the beginning of the meal that our wine was only available by the glass. However, it subsequently became clear that it was indeed available by the bottle. It’s trying very hard to be ultra modern but ends up confused.

Just had a great bottle of wine and two entrees. Prawn curry and lentil meatballs tagliatelle. Great place altogether with lots of vegetarian options. The place is beautifully decorated, very modern aesthetic with great views.

My Wife and I were looking for a place to have a nice romantic dinner. We heard a lot from other restaurants, but their menu clearly got our attention! The detail, the design .. their ingredients .. great experience! Would definitely come again if one day we pass by Coimbra!
