BackSwing Eatery - Coaldale

I came here for lunch with some friends who had traveled across the city en route to Saskatoon. We decided to give this place a try at the start of the season. However, we were greatly disappointed. We had to return a glass of soda because it was flat, the service was very slow despite it not being busy, and the food resembled something you would purchase at Costco and heat up in your own oven. Nothing appeared to be fresh or locally sourced. The menu was small with limited options. I would recommend saving yourself the disappointment and avoiding this place altogether.

I visited this restaurant for my sister's birthday in August. We ordered the Bratwurst dinner with baked potatoes. Unfortunately, the potatoes were nearly raw and we couldn't even cut them with a knife. The Roastbeef was decent, but the service was practically nonexistent. After finally flagging down our server, who was busy chatting with friends, she took our plates away and promised new potatoes. However, when the replacement potatoes arrived 30 minutes later, they looked like old leftovers that had been reheated in the microwave. I tried multiple times to speak with the manager, but each time I called, he was unavailable or offered only apologies. My recommendation is to steer clear of this place. The food and service are both terrible.

I went to this restaurant with my sister for her birthday on August 11, 2016. We ordered the Roast Beef dinner with baked potato. Unfortunately, all of our baked potatoes were raw and we couldn't even cut them with a knife. We informed the waitress and she said she would get us new potatoes. However, when the second potatoes arrived, they looked like they had just been thrown together without any care. The waitress was more interested in chatting with friends than addressing our concerns. Despite trying to reach the manager multiple times, we were unable to speak with them. Overall, it was a terrible experience and we will not be returning. I have no problem sharing this experience with others.

Ordered the smaller roast beef dinner that was $12.99 instead of the roast beef that was $15.99.
