Tortillas Carolina - Clinton

Stopped on the way to Topsail beach due to all the wonderful reviews. Unfortunately it seems like this place changed owners and is now under a new name. The food was just Ok. It wasn't worth the 20 minute detour we took to stop by. Big big disappointment.

By far, the best tacos I've had being in North Carolina. You can tell this is a local favorite as well! I have never been disappointed by anything I've tried here. The food is actually served like chipotle/moe's with them building the food for you on the spot, which makes for quick service. If I could recommend anything it would be their barbacoa. Their seasoned barbacoa is to DIE for and if they have the fried barbacoa, you must try. The ladies that work there are so friendly and passionate about what they do. Clinton has a lot of Mexican resteraunts, but I will always recommend this place.

Holy heck. On advice from a business associate we crammed our truck and trailer into the back yard and had hands down the best tacos. Ever. Like even if you 're not in a taco mood this place is awesome you paleo freaks can do bowls or whatever. Great place.

Wow! Who knew a small place in NC could be serving authentic Mexican fare, compete with horchata, Jarritos and Mexican Coke. The Mexican in our group was extremely skeptical and she was totally blown away. The food was amazing and huge portions. I would search this place out to eat here even if I had to drive 40 miles out of the way.
