Great small town steakhouse. Food was excellent and staff was super friendly. Great prices also. If your passing through Clayton New Mexico this place is a must. I had the ribeye and hubby had the T-bone. Both wonderful. There was a chef salad at our table too large servings.

Seat yourself wherever you want in a somewhat cafeteria atmosphere. The menu is extensive and I'd guess everything on it is good, from basics to some enigmatic choices. Very casual, friendly, and something of a magical touch with even ordinary dishes.

Stop here only if nothing else is open. My niece ordered a bacon cheeseburger and I have never seen less bacon on a burger. Our meals were average at best and as others have noted it could use a lot of help with the interior. Service left a little to be desired and we had to chase down our server to pay our bill. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews but unfortunately had nothing positive to say.

I’ve traveled to many bbq joints in Texas, Kansas City, North Carolina and all over the US. This places brisket is better than most. It was tender, not greasy and a great job with the smoker. Their home made bbq sauce was fantastic too!
