The Griffon Gastropub Niagara Falls

Service was excellent and friendly. They were fairly swamped so there was some slowness, but the server apologized for the wait, which is alot better than other places. You could tell that the server cared, and that is really a great quality to have and know. Food was quite different yet familiar. A chicken caesar salad, for example, comes in wedge format, grilled, with tomatoes. Chicken and waffles had the elements of sweetness (the waffle, the candied bacon) and saltiness (the pickle slaw) that made the dish outstanding and the flavors pop. I look forward to trying out the other dishes there. Inventive, tasty, and familiar, better than any chain in the area. If there is anything to nit-pick about, in my opinion it is the ambiance. The restaurant can use an update. Finally, the tip machine was set to 20/22/25% which I think is ridiculous. We'll be back!

Food was excellent!! The portions were huge. We started with their food b4 food which included the corn fritters and a order of banh mi nachos. Let's start with the corn fritters. This was a exceptionally well thought out app!! It had fresh corn in the batter and served with a maple butter sauce. It was crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. Not doughy and cooked just right! Now the nachos were huge for our table of 6 BUT we took it in and cleaned the platter!! Left no trace of what is was previously but only the receipt was the evidence of wgat we had. it was fried wontons topped with vietnamese pulled pork , pickled carrots, peppers, slices green onions, cilantro and on the side it had pickled jalapeño. It also had a toasted seasame siracha sauce. Don't know how that combination was created but it was devoured by my family. We ha d a variety of of foods including chicken and waffle, pb and jam burger, griffon burger, and i shared a just the tips meal with a family member. The ambiance of the restaurant was like an older tavern and the decor was charming. Our server was exceptionally good. Checked in on us and filled our drinks. Great service!

We always love our trips to the Gastropub. The food is always creative and delicious no matter which location we visit. Great service today! And the food was even better! Get the Maryland Pretzel Bombs!

Always enjoy the good times here at the Griffon! The food is always appealing and delicious! The service is great and the ambiance of this place is cool! They have a bar inside and offer a ton of drink and food options! I promise you won't be disappointed when you come here! Ps... chicken fingers breaded are a good.... Even grilled ones are just as good! Very flavorful!!!!!

I really enjoyed my Griffon Burger My only complaint is the fries are a bit over salted. Very Attentive Service. Definitely, interested in trying more off the menu.
