I do think that Leon has (as a whole) gone a bit down hill recently in terms of the type of food it is producing. It just seems cheaper and less health conscious as it used to... still like this one though.
I have been eating in Leon's for ages, I love their food and their vegan options. Today it's the first time I am giving bad review and I believe something is wrong with this one branch of Leon. The Brazilian bears dish was so dry and barely could eat it, plus it was cold. The potato chips were raw...so disappointing. I guess the cook staff in this branch are not doing what they supposed to do or the quality of Leon is just going down.
We had lunch in this restaurant which specialises in lunch time foods such as boxes, pittas and burgers, as well as Greek food. I had a Lebanese Meze Box and the food was very tasty.
While visiting London for business, walking around looking for a place to eat I came across Leon on Cannon St. I looked inside and liked what I saw on the menu, chicken, and beef. I chose to go with this beef teriyaki bowl to go. Got to the hotel and starting eating food was very tasty and filling.
After enjoying the Moroccan meatballs with rice meal at Leon, Canary Wharf, I expected the same standard at Leon on Shaftesbury Avenue today. However, the meatballs were dry, hard, and a little shrunken, having obviously been over-microwaved. The rice was half-cooked. Very disappointed as one expects the same standard for the same dish at a different Leon restaurant.
