Pizzelii Brick Oven Pizza - Cincinnati

I'm always on the lookout for new dining spots, and sometimes that means trying places I've passed by daily. Recently, my friend Kelly and I decided to give one of these places a shot. Pizzelii's Brick Oven Pizza is located just across the street from 50 West and is owned by the same team. It features the popular 'fast casual' dining concept, where you place your order at the counter, then sit down and wait for your food to be delivered. This trend in pizza places is gaining popularity, with establishments like Pizzelii, Pieology, Blaze, and others opening up frequently.

It reminded me of a contemporary college restaurant. I thought it was a bit unusual that they only offer one size of pizza, but we ordered three pizzas for five people along with two salads, and that was more than enough. The pizzas were cooked perfectly, and the flavors were delightful. The Carni Pii was an excellent mix of meats and was definitely the standout favorite.

My Favorite Pizza in Cincinnati. I absolutely adore cracker-thin crust, and Pizzelii boasts one of the best I've ever had. The red sauce is flavorful and unique, while the garlic and oil base is outstanding! The pizzas are prepared quickly and taste fantastic, made with fresh ingredients. Some may take issue with the seating or the fact that the establishment isn’t particularly upscale, but that doesn’t bother me at all; the service and food are top-notch. As much as I enjoy Dewey’s, for me, Pizzelii is the best in town.

Good Pizza Service. A friend of mine had a fundraiser to earn for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. This was my first trip there and have to say I was very impressed by the polite service and the pizza was really good also. It was very family oriented and the teenagers working there had impeccable manners.

DrC. Good experience, fresh ingredients, fast and friendly service. The owner demonstrated how the oven works. We split a chicken/spinach/onion pizza and enjoyed it The salads are good, too. I would return to have salad and split the pie between 2 people, buying a second pizza if we have more people in our party.
