Contribuiți la feedbackWonderful date night! Loved the guest providers and live music, and sooo many cider options! The wood-fired pizza was great, loved the crepes and the fact that all menus had many GF and VG options. Organic, locally grown ingredients!
Unbelievable atmosphere. It's more than just a bar where you can order cedar. There are several choices for food manufacturers, a stage, a shop and a wide outdoor seating area. The cedar itself was so good and had unique local flavors. Definitely stop here when you visit the area!
Finnriver was a must on the way to Victoria. I love cedar and Finnriver didn't disappoint. We got pizza and enjoyed live music and an intermittent sunshine. Great place to spend and afternoon. Family friendly.
My group and I originally wanted to take a few drinks in Port Townsend and then take the ferry to Whidbey Island to set our way to the Deception Pass buuut time was not in our favor as the sun began. We decided to return to Kingston ferry terminal and find this little jewel on our way! It is located just outside the city of Chimacum at the Center Rd. There is a huge, immaculate parking lot. When we left, it was during a rainy day, so the whole lot had filled a ton of pots with mud and water. There was a seating area in the interior where we ordered our drinks and an outdoor seating area with heaters (it was also cool with the heaters and a small stage for live music. During the times of live entertainment, there is a small fee for the band playing when the game enters. My friends and I came during one of the live music and had to play, even though we were sitting inside. The indoor seating area also had board games for people to play! I ordered a preselected apple flight that changes (not sure how often. The aromas went from dry to sweet: Autumn Blush, Sun Seed, Pome Stone, Cranberry Rosehip and Black Currant. Actually, I didn't care. They weren't so great. Maybe it is because it is not apple season, but the flavors for their flight were either meh or bad. One of them smells really bad, which I don't like at all. The overall feeling for the selected flight was a huge meh. On the other hand, my friend got her Pear Cider, who was surprisingly good. Better than the one I had. Too bad it wasn't part of my flight. My friend has a porter and that was good. Can't remember what it was, even though LOL. On previous reviews and pictures I had seen a food store with oysters from Hamma Hamma and had really hoped that the day we went had something because that was the great incentive to choose this location. Unfortunately, the stable was not there. I guess we went to the wrong Booo season. But there was a food store with pizza (I think Dente Buoy? . My friend was curious about the Orchard pizza that had apples and smoked bacon. It was delicious! The apples gave the pizza a sweeter taste that worked really well. The only drawback was how thin the pizza was for the price we paid. But loved the uniqueness of it! The atmosphere here was beautiful! There was so much going on, which was nice instead of just drinking and talking (not that this is bad. There were also families on the field that had corn holes and other outdoor games! Maybe. I come back in summer when the apples are in the season and Hamma Hamma is here.
Step back in time to the day of coops and hippies. This is a great place to see how the apples are grown and made into cider, then to sit back and taste the cider. We were here in February where all we could really do was taste the cider and imagine a warm summer night overlooking the orchards. It's a lovely experience. We did take home some bottles of their finest cider.
