Nobby's - Chico

The staff here is incredibly creative, and the food is outstanding – truly the best burgers in Chico! They even have annual awards to back it up. While they’re known for their inventive dishes overall, locals often rave about Nobby's signature roasted cheese skirt, whether it's Jack or Cheddar, served on one of their beautifully crafted burgers. This restaurant can get quite busy at times, but don’t let that put you off; they manage to serve customers quickly and efficiently. I also want to point out that despite the current economic climate, and all the award-winning prices here, their costs remain very reasonable compared to the steep price hikes at other restaurants. So, if you're craving something extraordinary from their diverse menu, don’t hesitate to stop by!

This is a fantastic spot for a quick meal. The standout dish was the Sliced Sirloin Steak Burger with just grilled onions—absolutely delicious! Her other burgers looked tempting as well, especially the one with a cheesy crust. The fries were perfectly cooked and crispy too. Highly recommended!

Without a doubt, this is the best burger in the city. Whenever I'm in the mood for a burger, I’ve heard that Nobby’s is the place to go, and after trying it, I can confirm those recommendations are spot on. The cheese skirt was fantastic, and the burger patty was cooked perfectly—slightly charred on the outside while remaining juicy inside. I ordered mine with bacon and a salad wrap, both of which were delicious, though I believe the standard rolls without bacon would also be great. The toppings (tomato, pickles, and onion) were fresh and full of flavor. While there are cheaper and possibly quicker options out there, it’s clear that Nobby’s offers the best burgers in town. I'd even rate it higher than Five Guys if they were on-site. Additionally, Burgers n' Brew is in a similar price range and has more boutique-style burgers, but Nobby's remains my favorite.

First time in 2 years going out for lunch! We love Nobby's, it's local, not a chain. The cheese burger with the skirt is everything you want in a burger, and the fries and onion rings are delicious! Whether you call in an order or stop by and eat in, the staff and owner and the burgers are delightful!
