I really appreciate old school business where honesty and integrity are just inherent to the business. The company I work for is like that (United Sun Energy-solar) and it makes such a difference. For years I worked for software companies whose only concern was the bottom line and these companies were so dollar hungry, you (I) would get fired for not assuming their money-grubbing corporate attitude. United Sun Energy is a breath of fresh air, but this isn't a PSA for them, but the companies like them where you can have a conversation with the owner of the company and he or she will treat you with the utmost respect. This post is about Chico Locker Sausage and David Dewey. I've been shopping at Chico Locker for years and every time I go there, it's like going to see friends I haven't seen in a while. I love going there for meat, but I also love the owners and their employees. It's old school. You know them by name, they know you. I'm about to make jerky in my smoker for the first time so I reached out to Dave Dewey and he was great! He was out of the office but asked me to call him! Is that the best or what? Dave, who is likely the most meat-knowledgable person in our area, took the time out of his personal time to help me out. When I got there, the cut we'd discussed was packaged and ready for me. That's why I shop there. The meat is always way above average, but it's their people that make the difference. Thank you Chico Locker!!! Customer forever!!

This is absolutely hands down my favorite place in town to purchase my meats. I have never once been disappointed in the quality of the products, and everytime I get a tri tip from here everyone is floored!! The deli sandwiches are to die for!! Give this place your business!!

Absolutely the most delicious tender tri-tip I have ever tasted I bought a huge marinated tri-tip and baked it in the oven and it was actually so tender it just melted in my mouth everyone loved it and also the potato salad is excellent as well everything I have ever purchased there is so delicious and fresh!

I was trying to find a place to have the ham and bacon processed from a hog I am purchasing. After speaking with the folks at Chico Locker, I was pleased with what they told me so i thought I would try some of their ham and bacon before committing. I was very impressed with the taste and quality and hope they can do as well with my pig. I went back to try some of their sausage and believe me it was some of the best I have had. Their Linquisa is exceptional as was the bratwurst. I can't wait to try some of the other sausages. A last minute decision was to buy a few beef sticks and by golly, they hit another home run. Depending on how my hog turns out, you've earned a solid customer.

Amazing place! They have been processing all my wild game and livestock for many years. I have never been disappointed. Also a great place to stop and have lunch or pick up something for the grill at home.
