Wagyu House By The X Pot Chicago Hé Niú Zì Zhù Huǒ Guō Kǎo Ròu

This place is not reliable for making a reservation. I called to make a reservation for BBQ for.a special occasion and when we arrived with the birthday cake, surprisingly, we got seated by the hotpot table. When I asked, I was told that the person who helped me make the reservation was in training and made a mistake and they had no BBQ table available. They were not able to arrange us for the BBQ but offering us $10 discount for the hotpot. What a disappointment of such poor management! We ended up leaving the restaurant without dining there. We celebrated the birthday the week after at a much more decent restaurant.

The food is horrible I took my 16 yr old niece to the movies and after the movies we came here to eat. This restaurant is all you can eat and we only ate a plate 1/2 the food was so disgusting and mostly all the food items were raw. You basically have to cook EVERYTHING yourself. My bill was almost $200 and me and my niece ended up getting food poisoning we were sick to our stomach for a few days after leaving this restaurant!!!!! I will never go back. The steaks were so oily no matter how long I cooked the meat.

I’ve found one of the best ALL YOU CAN EAT HOTPOT experiences here in Chicagos south loop and it’s at Wagyu House!Everything is superior quality the meats, the service and the ambiance. Their A5 Wagyu beef is FLOWN IN DAILY from Japan and Australia!!! Their AYCE option includes options like wagyu, crab legs, sushi, ramen, lobster and more; it’s unbelievably good!The shrimp balls were so good Deep fried with a tasty sauce and I loved putting my crab legs in the broth and eating them warm; they honestly tasted great just chilled!This beautiful restaurant is great for a date night or girls night out and they even have happy hour and I love the little cute robot servers they have rolling around! The interior is very modern and even though there can be A LOT of people around, the noise doesn’t get overwhelming.Dont just take my word for it go experience this amazing restaurant yourself!

Had heigh expectations. First time there. Bathroom had no paper towels or soap. Sad.Waiter took about 10minutes to get beer.Waiter did not explain anything.Not worth it! Meat taste weird.Sushi ok.
