Vini's Pizza - Chicago

Update: The pizza is excellent. Well. I know nothing of their pizza. I haven’t tried it yet. But you know what? I will soon. This place was amazing. The Chicken Alfredo was excellent, the Alfredo sauce wasn’t too oily, had just enough heat, and just enough garlic. The Panzerotti was also excellent. Fried to perfection and just stuffed with toppings. Will be getting this again once my arteries can take it again. Not sure if their delivery driver was theirs or a third party. He was excellent too. They’ve definitely gained a new customer! Got mozz sticks and jalepeno poppers too. They were what we expected.

I usually come in to just order the one slice option and let me tell you aside from being affordable and reasonable priced! My god is it sooo dam good! I always buy it with extra pizza sauce which they do charge for but honestly my stomach is so happy for the rest of the day! Highly recommend their pizza!

Stuffed pizza is good but takes an hour for pick up

Order a gyro plate, confused how one can ruin such an easy dish- the meat was extremely dry/over cooked and the sauce was flavorless. Understandable if they're busy but there wasn't a single customer in the restaurant (except me). Really hope their pizza is better than their gyro plate, by far the worst one I've had in 35 years. Was also hoping for some legit french fries, but better to pass on those too.

My first time at Vini’s Pizza, I stopped by for a few slices. There are more pluses than minuses. The only thing I didn’t like about my order was the crust, it reminded me of frozen pizza crust, not pliable at all. The slices are big with plenty of cheese and sausage and they double-bag the slices to go.Everything was great, the counter persons, fast service, toppings, and the packaging except for the cardboard dough. They have daily specials, maybe I will try one of those next time.
