Rosebud on Rush - Chicago

Had a great evening at this true Italian Restaurant. Come with a big appetite as the portions are huge. You will definitely be taking some great Italian food home with you. Service was impressive and impeccable. Never had to ask for anything. Even water was full at all times. Our waiter, Andres (I hope I got that right) was fabulous. Highly recommend him, but from what I could tell all the waiter and waitress staff was exceptional. Highly recommend this if you are in Chicago near the Magnificent Mile area.

Went to Rosebud on my birthday for the first time and I had a wonderful experience! The staff greeted my fiancé and I as soon as we walked in and they wished me a happy birthday. The waiters were so attentive, patient, and kind with us. Great cozy atmosphere, and amazing fresh Italian food!

Good food, ambience ok, they added surcharge on our bill.

I really thought the food would be so much better! We got the arancini for our app, and the rice was a little too al dente, but also had a fishy scent to it? I didn't like it. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, and it really just tasted like I made it from a box at home. Even the chicken looked very dry. The pasta was very bland. We got the Godiva cake for dessert, which was good, but a bit dry. The service was very good, and the waiters would check on us often and had an upbeat attitude. It's too bad we didn't really enjoy our actual food.

Pretty good rosebud location but they should definelty renovate. The versuvio was on point as always and everything was top notch I wished they just elevated the place bc it’s in a prime location
